| We have been given the unique and exciting opportunity to join with Juan Ortiz, Venezualan Grand Prix Jumper, and his mount, Alias, in their bid for success at the Pan Am Games being held in Brazil Summer 2007. Juan will be representing his native Venezuela at the competition. Alias is a spectacular chestnut gelding who has his prime ahead of him yet. We are proud part owners of this beautiful equine athlete. Juan has been the Venezuelan National Champion three times so far in his career. In addition to his pairing with Alias, he is currently campaigning a beautiful young Canadian bred mare, For Rosa’s Pleasure, who he purchased from Dale and Crystal Hawerchuk of Grande Farms. Rosa was the 2006 Canadian Reserve Champion in the Canadian Young Horse Jumper Development 5 year old series. Feel free to read more about Juan at: www.juanantonioortiz.com. He is married to Frankie Chesler-Ortiz, Canadian international show jumper and spends his summers in the Hills close to our farm. We have had the good fortune not only to work with Juan and Frankie but develop a friendship. We wish Juan and Alias success at the Pan Am Games and hope that it is only the beginning of a successful equestrian career for the pair. We would love an excuse to go to Bejing!
